How to connect it

Open your demo account at HFM
It is free and opens on the HFM website. When you finish you will have an account number, a password and the server name.

Choose the platform
WebTrader needs no installation. MetaTrader 4 or 5 are downloaded from hfm.com for Windows, Mac, Linux or mobile. The demo account is either MT4 or MT5: the platform must match.

Log in with your account
In the platform, choose to log in with an existing account, enter the account number and password, and select the server HFM gave you.

Add the markets you will study
Open the market watch window, add EUR/USD, gold, US30 and NAS100, and save a chart template with your timeframe.

Practice with the program
Follow the Academy modules in order and record every trade in your trading journal. When you have a written plan, you are ready for The Challenge.
Frequently asked questions
What everyone asks
Which platform suits me if I am starting from scratch?
WebTrader, because it needs no installation and includes the TradingView charts we use in class. When you want to review everything calmly on desktop, MetaTrader 5.
Can I use my MetaTrader 4 account on MetaTrader 5?
No. HFM explains that each platform works with its own account type and its own credentials. If you want to use both, you need one account of each type.
Is the chart on this page the one from my account?
No. It is a TradingView chart for educational purposes. Prices and trading hours may differ from what you see on your HFM platform, which is the one that counts for your trades.
Does Arco have access to my platform?
No. Your account, your credentials and your trades belong to you and HFM. Arco will never ask you for passwords or trade for you.
